Objective:

Research to identify the business goals, target users, and their needs, then redesign the website of a local non-profit (Take Pride Winnipeg).

After researching Take Pride Winnipeg's needs and goals, as well as those of the people visiting the website, the objective was to design a homepage that would draw visitors in, successfully communicate the information that Take Pride Winnipeg wanted to communicate, and make it easy for visitors to quickly find the information they were seeking.

The website's colour palette is primarily shades of green, which is fitting because a large portion of Take Pride Winnipeg's work revolves around the outdoors and improving outdoor spaces to make them more enjoyable for Winnipeggers.

The website's primary focus is its imagery. The images are bright enough to draw the eye to them and all contain elements of green to connect them to the rest of the website.

For navigation around the website, the menu links in the header section are simple and clear to understand, helping visitors quickly find what they are searching for. The buttons throughout the site are also easily identifiable and clearly labelled, which again is helpful for easy navigation.
